Jennifer Swift, known for her personal touch and strong advocacy on behalf of clients, protects the educational rights of students and their families.
While her practice encompasses all aspects of education law, she has been focusing on tuition reimbursement cases, 504 plan requests, IEP modifications, and academic integrity violations (including AI).
Ms. Swift, the daughter of an educator, joined Barger & Gaines in 2021. In her previous career, she worked as a journalist, publishing magazine, print and web articles about education, politics, and crime.
She is a graduate of the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, where she worked as a clinical law student with the Innocence Project and the New York Attorney General’s Civil Rights Bureau.
